By providing the Mother Daughter Ride with resources through in-kind product and/or minimal financial support, you have the opportunity to differentiate yourself, create internal/external customer loyalty via charitable support, improve community relations and create value benefiting your employees by supporting their volunteer efforts and charitable giving. The objective to positively impact communities has local, national and international implications creating a strong win-win for you and SOS Children’s Villages.

The Plan

Departing from St. John's, NFLD in August 2nd, 2010, the mother daughter team will make their way to Vancouver, British Columbia over 25 days, hitting the major cities in most of the provinces. As they travel through Canada they will unite with motorcycle riders and clubs of the communities they pass by hosting simple fundraising gatherings aimed at uniting riders and raising awareness and funds for SOS Children’s Villages. The mother daughter team is welcoming riders for the entire ride or parts there off, much like a relay over 8000km+.

During the ride, we are looking forward to connecting with clubs and associations, national and local media as well as national and local sponsors.  By soliciting riders to collect pledges and donations of a suggested $250 each, and through corporate and local sponsorship we aim to raise $2M within 3 years.

Our desire to make giving easy has also translated into providing corporations, small businesses and groups opportunities to give in ways that works for them.  Depending on the level of involvement, we are able to provide our sponsors with a competitive package that includes access to our virtual media center and national exposure. We encourage our sponsors to engage their staff and reap the benefits of a higher morale and stronger team spirit. It is becoming apparent that many current and prospective clients, consumers and staff are looking for companies that are socially responsible and are giving back in sustainable manner. Supporting the Mother Daughter Ride will enable sponsors to enhance their image, foster loyalty and increase their exposure to key target markets.
